I think you're on the verge of a really good track here. My only suggestion would be to change the instrument you're using for the melody. I would experiment around, but for some reason, the one you have right now is a little grating on the ears and is muddying the mix. Nothing wrong with the notes, just that particular instrument choice. Otherwise, I love the rhythm and the pulsar is a very different but cool touch.

EDIT: I think the reason that instrument is bad is because of the echo on it. I think that echo might be hurting the mix.

I think this is a pretty fresh beat. I think it would benefit from a smoother mix though. The distortion is a bit overwhelming and not conducive for having lyrics. I notice it looked VERY compressed. So I think if you improve that one thing, this would be a really good 2020 type beat.

Hey I really like the tune and the sound design. I think a couple of things could take it to the next level. The percussion would benefit from being a little more generic in rhythm. Like the snaps make it seem off. I think if you made the snaps more like a generic latin or hip hop that would make it better for having a lyricist on it. Also less reverb on the percussion snaps would help make the mix a little less muddy.

I do dig the Kalimba. It's a little repetitive in the first 2/3. It is nice how you switched up in the last third though. Maybe somewhere in the first two thirds, you could slow down the chords to give a sense of variation for example.

I like the song and I think the vocals could be more prominent in the mix. It seens whatever effect you're using to make the voice sound robotic is muddying the vocals. It's fine to use autotune and whatnot, but if you make it too precise or add effects like chorus, it can detract the vocals. I've noticed a lot of producers do this to hide their natural voice, but I think this is a mistake. But regardless, keep up the good work.
